The documentary film ŽENA NOVEJ DOBY, with the subtitle Being a democrat is not an easy thing, brings the pioneer of democracy in Slovakia and the heroine of the Slovak National Uprising Dr. Alžbeta Gwerková-Göllnerová. She came to Banská Štiavnica in 1938 for family happiness. Viewers learn about her story in authentic places, through the bodies of dancers and actors, in the memories of monuments, analyzes by women scientists and through newly discovered documents and photographs.
