"When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way."

The most important aspect of his teaching methods is to empathize with the students and this is a base for further work. His classes are trying to highlight self-awareness - more important is to understand the initiation of the movement, than the final result. He is extracting information and knowledge from different movement techniques that he experienced to provide required and needed information to each student. It is about how to absorb information, movement and take it further to use it in future as a tool, dance practice/concept not replicate. His classes are talking a lot about tension of body/muscles, how gravity influences movement, directions in body/space.
