The bag, after bag, after bag

Bartosz Przybylski, Aleksandra Kostrzewa

The main motivations/keywords in this project are weight, fatigue, work, responsibility, self-destruction, how they can affect human life and what the consequences are. How demanding and exhausting is the idea of work, of fighting against the "burden", what does it mean and what must be sacrificed to keep going (reinterpretation of the myth of Sisyphus). How do we impose burdens on ourselves because it gives us stability? Meaning in life? At the same time, you condemn yourself to a constant fight, for example with your alter ego (I will do it, I will be able to continue). And that this constant work results in disability not only physical, but also mental, against all odds, because of a really strong sense of value and meaning in life (e.g. family). How altruism can overpower you and start working against you. How free can you be when you are constantly punishing yourself, when you are constantly fighting your own demons, trapped between values that both give meaning to our lives and destroy us. When you can rest, if you can rest, in an endless cycle, when you are tired inside mechanism of self-exploitation (Franz Kafka - Prometheus).
