HOSTCLUB - LAST ART STANDING
bodytalk
The "Host Club" is a successful business model from Japan. It's quite simple: handsome men take care of female guests. The strategy: to make the audience addicted. Success is measured by revenue – that of the guest and that of the host. This must be the win-win situation everyone talks about. And what can theater people learn from it? A lot! At least in the case of the artists from bodytalk. They understand participation as partycipation. And happening as happyning. As shiny happy party people between the Far East and the Near Westphalia, they are opening their own "Host Club." Their promise of happiness: We are whatever you want! We fulfill all your wishes! And if you don't have any wishes, they will be whispered to you. It doesn't cost anything. After all, we all just want one thing: success! Success! Success! Welcome to the club.
