The beautiful and tragic images that remained after this collaboration, written down and some unrealized in the notebook of the choreographer Zuzana Ďuricová Hájková, inspired us in many ways.

The production is composed of poetic images that capture fragments of the life of Alžbeta Gwerková and her partner, the painter Edmund Gwerk. We bring the essence of this powerful life story to the stage. A story about an educated, courageous, emancipated and important woman, about whom little is said and written to this day. About her timeless democratic attitude in the era of growing totality and about her tragic end, which is all the more chilling because it took place in nearby Kremnička, where Gwerková was executed, because of her origin and participation in the Slovak National Uprising.
