Choreographer Milan Tomášik builds on his rich experience (including working in our theater) and his typical artistic signature in connection with an international artistic ensemble is a guarantee of an artistic experience.

The theme of beauty became the source of inspiration for the production of Besi for the creators. In the process of creation, the authors focused on the historical development of the perception of beauty and later the resulting questions: How do we understand beauty nowadays? What is really beautiful today? What value does beauty acquire in the time of relativized values? Does the sense of beauty affect the functioning of society or interpersonal relationships? From more and more similar questions and especially from the search for their answers, the authors create a thematic mosaic, which is the core of the performance. Productions about beauty but also about ugliness, about the demons in us that are capable of destroying beauty. One of the inspirations for the creators was the French medieval poetry collection The Romance of the Rose, rich in metaphors and allegorical images, which became stimulating when creating the choreography and visual representation of the production.
